Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information SeaTop Homes collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Last updated: August 7, 2026
SeaTop Homes (“SeaTop,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you visit www.seatophomes.com or contact us.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide and limited information collected automatically:
- Information you provide. When you submit one of our forms (contact, quote, specs, RFP, configurator) or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your name, email address, phone number, organization, project details, and the contents of your message or inquiry. Where a form requires it, we also record that you consented to be contacted and accepted this policy, along with the date of that consent.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers record standard technical data such as your browser type, device, and general location, and the pages you view. We use Google Analytics (GA4), which sets cookies in your browser to recognise repeat visits. To understand how people find us, we also store basic marketing attribution, the campaign source/medium from URL parameters (UTM) and the referring site, in your browser’s session storage and attach it to a form submission if you send one.
Free tools (Lot Check, calculators, configurator)
- Lot Check. When you check an address, we send that address (or its coordinates) to public government services, the US Census geocoder, FEMA flood maps, USGS elevation data, and Florida’s evacuation-zone service, to produce your result. We do not store the address you check. Our anonymous usage counter records only the state, flood zone, and date of a check, never the address or anything about you. If you request the full Lot Resilience Report, the address becomes part of your inquiry like any other form.
- Share links. If you use a “Share” button, the result you are sharing (for example a lot-check snapshot or a home configuration) is encoded into the link itself. Anyone you give that link to can see that snapshot. Sharing is always your choice; nothing is shared automatically.
Website accounts
You can create an optional account. We ask for your name, email address, what you do (for example architect, developer, or landowner), and, if you wish, your company. There is no password: we email you a six-digit code that expires in ten minutes and can be used once. The code itself is never stored on our servers. Signing in lets you see the requests you have already sent us from this website; it does not subscribe you to our newsletter, and we use your account details only to identify you and to understand who our audience is. You can ask us to delete your account at any time using the email address below.
Cookies
We do not set advertising or re-marketing cookies. We do use Google Analytics (GA4), which sets analytics cookies (such as _ga) to measure how the site is used; you can block these with your browser settings or an ad blocker without losing any functionality. Beyond analytics, the cookies we use are essential ones only: a signed session cookie for our staff-only administration area, set when a staff member logs in, and — if you create an account — a short-lived cookie while you enter your sign-in code plus a signed session cookie that keeps you signed in.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiries and provide the products and services you request.
- To send newsletters and updates when you have asked to receive them.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the website and communicate with you (for example, our hosting, database, and email delivery providers, and the internal messaging tools that alert our team to a new inquiry), and only as needed to perform those services. We may also disclose information when required by law.
Data retention
We keep submissions and subscriber information for as long as necessary to respond to you, provide our services, and meet our legal and business requirements. You may ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
- You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in our emails.
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us at tal.foxamit@seatophomes.com.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. We honor such requests regardless of your state; use the email above.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
