Why Sea Top Homes Builds Constructed Wetlands

Conventional wastewater treatment plants are costly, energy-intensive, and disruptive to their surroundings. Our water purification solutions provide a long-term alternative that operates with minimal energy, prevents odors, groundwater contamination, and reduces nitrate pollution. Unlike mechanical plants, we also add value to communities by functioning as beutifull colorfull green spaces & parks along with natural amenities.

What We Do

Our wetlands are versatile and can be applied in residential, resorts, municipal, agricultural, and industrial contexts. Beyond treatment, they restore ecosystems, improve biodiversity, and create recreational or educational spaces that benefit communities.

Applications Include

High efficieny septic systems (Compared to traditional septic systems)

Municipal treatment (stand-alone or park-integrated)

River and lake rehabilitation

Industrial and agricultural effluents

Sludge and landfill leachate

Nitrate removal from drinking water sources

Bird sanctuaries, eco-parks, and ornamental lakes

Large-scale eco-hydrology and stormwater control

Chemical free pools & ponds

Benefits of Constructed Wetlands

Environmental

Restores ecosystems, increases biodiversity, lowers carbon footprint

Water Quality

Produces clear water suitable for irrigation and landscaping

Economic

Lower construction and O&M costs compared to traditional plants

Community Value

Doubles as gardens, ponds, natural parks on both ground, roofs or lakes.

User Friendly

Minimal technical operation required

Investment-ready

Scalable and long-term infrastructure solution

Key Features

Each system is chemical free, scalable, and highly efficient. Plants, soils, and microbes form the treatment mechanism rather than machinery, making wetlands more reliable and sustainable than conventional approaches while maintaining the highest water quality standards. They can be designed as part of landscapes, blending function with beauty.

Laberatory Testing.jpg

Certified Laboratory Testing

We ensure every installation meets strict international water quality standards through certified laboratories that conduct the testing. Results consistently demonstrate reductions in turbidity, organic load, and pathogens.

Verified performance includes:

• Turbidity reduction (clarity improvement)
• Biological oxygen demand (BOD) reduction
• Chemical oxygen demand (COD) reduction
• Pathogen elimination (E. coli, coliforms)
• Nutrient removal (nitrogen and phosphorus)

Scientific Research & Innovation

Constructed Wetlands are supported by decades of ecological engineering research. Scientific studies confirm their ability to remove organic pollutants, reduce nutrients, capture heavy metals, and even treat emerging contaminants like pharmaceuticals and pesticides. They also support stormwater management and  groundwater recharge.

Sea Top Homes collaborates with universities, environmental institutes, and engineering firms to ensure every project reflects best practices and the latest innovations in ecological water treatment.

Past Projects

Our systems have been successfully deployed in residential clusters, municipal parks, agricultural facilities, and eco-resorts. They provide wastewater treatment while doubling as attractive natural features for the communities they serve.

Questions & Answers

  • Each project is custom-built, with diagrams adapted to local regulations, topography, climate, and intended water reuse.

  • Free-flow wetlands are land-intensive and mosquito-prone. Our engineered systems are compact, efficient, and odor-free.

  • Yes. Systems can function as recreational ponds, educational gardens, or birdwatching parks, while providing irrigation-quality water.

  • Campeche, Veracruz, and Mexico City, mainly for off-grid communities, universities, and hotels. Systems comply with 30 BOD₅ / 30 TSS standards.

  • Very low. Only routine monitoring and optional gardening are required. Systems last for decades with minimal expense.

  • Any required level. For example, R/O brines with 265 mg/L nitrate have been reduced to <5mg/L.

  • EPDM liners last 100 years (10-year warranty). Prefab PE/fiberglass units last ~50 years.

  • Only if pumps are needed due to topography, or if chlorination is required for reuse.

  • No. Subsurface designs keep water below gravel, eliminating odor. Systems are planted 2–3 months before use to ensure maturity.

  • Yes. Systems are adapted to meet all local regulatory requirements and delivered in formats authorities are accustomed to reviewing.
