Constructed-Wetland Wastewater Treatment
Azerbaijan · IsraelCompleted
Real, planted high-performance septic: treating wastewater cleaner than local septic codes require in a fraction of a standard system’s footprint, and doubling as parkland.

The challenge
Communities that need on-site wastewater treatment without surrendering a large drainfield: the constraint that forces low density on lots with no municipal sewer.
Our approach
SeaTop built engineered, planted constructed-wetland systems: a compact, lab-verified process that treats wastewater on-site and reads as landscape, not infrastructure. The Azerbaijan system has been in service since 2012; in Petach Tikva, Israel, a planted pond treats nitrate-polluted groundwater.
The outcome
Wastewater treated to a standard cleaner than local septic codes require, in a fraction of the usual footprint, freeing land for housing and turning the treatment system itself into a planted, usable park.
